Introduction

The purpose of the Hope Community Garden Project is to introduce our community to the rewards and interactive activities related to growing healthy vegetables, herbs and grains. It is our hope that you and your family sow and reap joy and happiness associated with growing produce and producing a healthy harvest of squash, corn, beets, etc.

Educational Experience

We hope to introduce you to new vegetables and grains you and your family may not have tried before. You will learn elements of garden planning, succession planting, companion planting, intensive gardening techniques, pest control and dealing with the elements beyond our control, such as weather and wind.

May this be the first of many years in your gardening experience here in Gallup, New Mexico!
